Drug-Free Childhood
At Josh Welfare Society, we believe every child deserves a safe and bright future, yet substance abuse among children from weaker sections remains a harsh reality. Our president, Supriya Chauhan, has transformed this concern into a movement of awareness, prevention, and rehabilitation. With de-addiction campaigns, street plays, and counseling sessions, she addresses the struggles of children left unsupervised while parents work long hours, often leading to addiction. Many children, once victims, are now back in school and inspiring others through their recovery. Supriya emphasizes that only collective responsibility can build a drug-free India and secure childhoods for future generations.

Swachchta Abhiyan

Josh Welfare Society believes that cleanliness is a way of life and has been conducting a Swachchta Abhiyan every three months across different city areas. The drive aims to instill habits of cleanliness, spread awareness about hygiene, and involve children as agents of change. Activities include community clean-ups, awareness rallies, workshops on waste segregation, and creative expressions like posters and street plays. Dustbins are also installed where needed. By engaging underprivileged children and covering new localities each time, the initiative has improved cleanliness, inspired behavioral changes, and fostered teamwork.

Plantation Drive

Josh Welfare Society organizes plantation drives with enthusiastic participation from children and community members to promote greenery and environmental conservation. These drives focus on teaching children the importance of trees in providing oxygen, reducing pollution, preventing soil erosion, and maintaining ecological balance. Saplings are planted in schools, parks, and nearby vacant areas, fostering a sense of responsibility among young participants. Also, special sessions are held to explain how trees contribute to a healthier environment and a sustainable future.
Health Camps
Josh Welfare Society regularly conducts health camps for children, with a special focus on eye and dental care. During eye check-ups, specialists examine eyesight, identify vision problems, and provide free spectacles to those in need. Dental check-ups are conducted to detect cavities and assess oral hygiene, while dentists guide children on maintaining healthy habits and distribute dental kits for daily use. These camps not only ensure early diagnosis and timely care but also create awareness about the importance of health and hygiene. By addressing such critical needs, the Society helps underprivileged children grow healthier and more confident in life.
